After the breakfast, depart for Full Day Winelands tour with picnic lunch.

This tour takes you to the Stellenbosch wine area. It is easy to understand why Simon van der Stel decided to settle a village amongst the mountains. The backdrop of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the white gabled Cape Dutch homesteads, the oak lined streets and lanes all blend in, to give this place a charm that will not be quickly forgotten. After a comprehensive city tour we visit Spier wine estate to sample some of the fine Cape wines on offer, followed by a picnic lunch. Thereafter, transfer back to hotel.

The town is famous for its oyster festival, warm people and the most magnificent views from Leisure Isle to the Knysna Heads. A visit to Knysna is a sublime blend of adventure and relaxation. It’s easy to get into the Knysna spirit as you drive in on the N2 highway from Cape Town. The town is well developed, but it feels as if you’re travelling in woodcutter country. On arrival in Knysna you will check-in to your hotel. Freshen up and then later get ready for sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon.

With an expert guide, visit the Cango Caves, a subterranean wonderland of eerie rock formations and vast caverns.

Next, visit a working ostrich farm. Get up close to these huge, flightless birds — the tallest and heaviest in the world — and marvel at the sheer size of their nests and eggs. Learn how their bulky bodies and powerful legs make them capable of carrying humans and, if you’re feeling brave, seize the chance to ride one.

Now continue to the Cango Wildlife Ranch on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn. Internationally recognized as the Western Cape’s most prestigious zoological park, it is home to some of the world’s most endangered animals. During a tour with your guide, see white tigers, lions, cheetah, crocodiles and more.
